Kristin Cashore is super talented and I love her novels so far. Just remember her when you're in the mood for a fantasy with strong heroines... :)Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03052456915027241479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4160066904665347291.post-68551834151351538552012-10-15T21:07:35.908-05:002012-10-15T21:07:35.908-05:00haha I think the romance fit so well with Fire and...haha I think the romance fit so well with Fire and Brigan and their particulate points in their lives during the book. And you can just tell that their relationship will be one that lasts. And thank you!Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03052456915027241479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4160066904665347291.post-61837894628599063812012-10-15T01:27:21.192-05:002012-10-15T01:27:21.192-05:00I have yet to read this series, but I definitely w...I have yet to read this series, but I definitely want to. Badly. I am a bit surprised - but happily so - to hear that you enjoyed this one so much because I also tend to assume that the companion novel won't end up living up to the original. Dang, it really sounds like Kristin Cashore really has the entire package, every aspect sounds so amazing!! Gah, okay this is a sort of torture reading your praise because I really, REALLY want to read this, but I just don't think I'll be able to find the time among all my prior commitments anytime soon... and that SUCKS. But I don't blame you too much :)Ayleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07639250102446794830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4160066904665347291.post-35054156350924196722012-10-14T22:32:25.356-05:002012-10-14T22:32:25.356-05:00I loved every book in this series, and all of them...I loved every book in this series, and all of them for different reasons. I think my favorite part of this series is that we get to explore leck so intricately. I have to say that bitterblue does the best job of uncovering leck's true nature, but, as I said before, every book in this series offers something unique and wonderful. I didn't love the villain but I loved his complexity. Great review! I have to agree on all of the above except for the romance tidbit. I wanted more progression with those two but it didn't take my enjoyment away. I was a little wary at first as to how much I'd enjoy it, but I'm always so incredibly happy when my expectations for a book are more than met. :) Thank you!Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03052456915027241479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4160066904665347291.post-63830563664517117512012-10-12T19:33:43.283-05:002012-10-12T19:33:43.283-05:00YAY! :D I am SO happy you enjoyed this one, Amanda...YAY! :D I am SO happy you enjoyed this one, Amanda! It's my favorite book - probably ever - so I'm thrilled to see you loved it as well. I wasn't a big fan of Bitterblue though, so I hope you have better luck with it than I did. Wonderful review though, dear! :)Keertanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01071392026876644282noreply@blogger.com
